The reviews mentioned that it takes 3 hrs to set up. We were fairly warned. I was really hoping to find a used one so that we would be spared the pain of putting one together but how fun would it be if Stuart would come home from camp to a new basketball net. We left for JFK Airport at 1:00 AM. I slept about an hour before we left. We hit a deer, thankfully there was no damage. My plan to purchase breakfast at the airport was made difficult by the lack of options. There was a Jamba Juice, so I got two smoothies and a smoothie bowl that we shared. Last week Mia asked me what color my hair was when I was little. "The same as it is now" I replied. I was met with peels of nervous laughter. "Grey?" Mia asked. Nate thought she was treading on thin ice. lol.
She also asked me if I was colorblind like Grandpa. This was actually much more offensive to me. Ellie had a dress that I call olive green and they all think it's brown.

School didn't start until September 10th this year. Our school did a large building project and we will have a short summer next year.

While I was driving yesterday (to the beach) I noticed that Olive was almost 5. It's a favorite age of mine and she is slipping into it. Her head was tipped and she was thinking brilliant thoughts.
It dawned on me while the children were up here singing (church park night) that I have my own little children's choir that I have longed for. Wow, that took me long enough.
