Things That Go Wrong

I thought my conditioner from Joe Hornings was on the expensive side for a dent and bent store.  It was a good brand and I was expecting good things.  I was so disappointed.  It was leaving my hair so dry. Things got so bad that I read the directions.  Turns out I had the shampoo and conditioner switched.  Things are much better now.

Dutch Way was out of Fruit Fresh.  I wanted to freeze peaches first thing in the morning.  This is a disaster in my small life. I don't even know if they carry fruit fresh, I had to come home and Google it to see what it was.

I was hammering out that pinata last week and needed scotch tape to tape the tissue paper on the outside.  I purchased one of those neat tape dispensers that teachers have on their desks.  I might have purchased this dispenser because it was actually cheaper than the tape.  So I should not have been surprised when there was actually not any tape in the tape dispenser.  Nope.  So the morning of the actual pinata decorating I was back at the local JDM outlet where I purchased not one but two rolls of tape for my tape dispenser. Came home to find they were totally the wrong size.  Picture me struggling with tape that had no dispenser.  It was not pretty.

Sold a record on ebay last week and guessed at the shipping.  Guessed way way low it turns out.  The lady at the post office informed me that, "Five dollars and twenty cents is the cheapest you can ship this in the entire United States.

I made Ellie some panties out of old t shirts and stuff.  It was kinda fun but also too time consuming.  I might try it again with proper elastic on a cold wintry night.  See, it turned out they were falling off of her.  This made for at least one stressful trip to JDM outlet where she was hitching and hitching to keep those things up. I saw in the walmart flyer yesterday that you can get 11 pairs for $4.95.  Hello wallyworld.  I wonder if they have fruit fresh?

But today! Today I found my first four leaf clover of the year.  I've been looking for one all summer.  It is an annoying habit as you can't walk past a nice clover patch without gazing intently at it.
