4th of July Camping
The day we primed 80 shiplap boards.
We have been working at finishing out the room above the shed. It gets called the "upper room"
The girls were begging to help putty the nail holes. Their day came. Too bad it was like 100 degrees up there. They were done after about 2 minutes and I reminded them that they had been begging to help to which they replied, Yeah, but it wasn't so hot up here then.
Cabin weekend with Nate's Dad's side of the family.
The lovely Sheri and her cooking show
Cousins from Georgia, they showed up and things got loud.
Uncle Mervin and Sam
Marlin (who has the largest feet ever 14 Triple E or something)
Aunt Mary Ellen in the center and now you all know where my kids get their dimples from. This Martin gene is strong.
I am not always at the cabin, but when I am, have to take a picture here.
Aunt Sara and Lucy represent for Uncle David's family.
We miss David and many stories about him get repeated.
Hank goes to the Doctor
The mailbox gets knocked off again.
Olive is all about the Richard Scarry book right now.
The A/C unit is up and running in the upper room now and the dogs are freaked out by the cold temps. Nate is begging them to come up the steps and this is as far as they will go.
Aunt Sonya blessed us with her presence yesterday and she made frozen hot chocolate for the kids. Good thing I still had one sad pack of hot chocolate mix laying around.
Beautiful memories:)
