Sourdough Waffles or Pancakes
(10-12 waffles)
Overnight Sponge
3 c flour white
or whole wheat
2 T Sugar or honey or
maple syrup
3 c buttermilk
1 ½ c sourdough
starter, unfed
Set on counter overnight. Hope no one throws it out.

pinch
of cloves

1 ½
c pumpkin

3 T
black strap molasses

vanilla
These look delicious! What kind of starter do you use? The kind you feed with potato flakes?
ReplyDeleteSourdough starter. I feed it with flour and water. I did not start it from scratch.
Deleteok then, I will make the pumpkin waffles!! I actually have a lot of pumpkin puree in the freezer with no ideas, so I will follow your directive :) (and it tickles me to see I have the same waffle iron as you!)
