Cabin with Cousins and Aunts

Aunt Joyce and Aunt Janie kept reminding me of Grandma Hoover, the way they talked and fussed over babies. 

 Great to spend 2 days with Andrea who is usually living in Nicaragua.

 It was Aunt Janie's 66th birthday.

 After our very gorgeous hike we got back to the cabin and the electric went off. No water.

 My Mom's back is better than my own.
I remember my step Grandma fussing about how she carried the boys around while she fed the calves. Well Grandma, she's still doing it.

Coal Cracker Fun Run

 The fun run in Shenandoah. We were staying at the cabin this weekend so our kids joined their cousin's in this years race. It was 1.1 miles. We did very little training for it and Ellie would not mind if she never ran one again.

Knoebels (what no one told me)

I spent the day at Knoebels wondering why no one ever mentioned how old school it is! You know I love stuff like this right? I think Nate was kind of amazed that it was still so much the same as when he was a kid. 

Screamed the entire time. 

Pretty much the only ride that Olive loved.
